Many of us will read that first sentence and think…already know this, studied it in school. I’ll just skip down and read the next paragraph. Please, don’t do that! Go back. Read it slowly. Focus on the words. Take it in for the poetic beauty, the encouragement, and the charge that is given to us…Live out and fulfill the responsibility of living in a Free Land.
Our founding fathers knew how important it was to them and generations to come, the rights and the responsibilities we all share living in America! Let us all revisit our heritage and be grateful to God that HE is the one who holds all the power in heaven and earth to guide, protect, and provide our Freedom to enjoy a life worth living. To honor Him as our Almighty God and Father.
May we all have a renewed understanding and commitment to God this 4th of July! Praise and honor to Him, our "Heavenly Founding Father."
